About Us
IMAGINE (Interprofessional Medical and Allied Groups for Improving Neighbourhood Environments) is an interprofessional, student-run community health initiative aimed at promoting and providing healthcare to the core neighborhoods of downtown Toronto. In addition to outreach activities with community partners and health promotion workshops, IMAGINE operates an interprofessional community-based clinic.
Note: The IMAGINE Clinic operates as an independent community health initiative, run entirely by student and community volunteers. Although many of our participants are licensed health professionals and students in health profession programs, the IMAGINE Clinic is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or formally overseen by the University of Toronto or any other academic institution. Involvement with IMAGINE Clinic does not form part of the University of Toronto's clinical placements, or any other course-based or credit-bearing activity, and is not supervised or endorsed by the University in any official capacity. Students and preceptors who participate do so independently of their academic programs.
We look forward to an exciting new year with the new IMAGINE subcommittee volunteers!
